Biography of Michael "Tank" Anderson

 December 14, 1995- February 17, 2014

Tank was born, Michael Tremayne Anderson on December 14, 1995. He was the son of Michael and Ava Michelle Boyce. He was the second youngest with four other siblings, Deemeetrice Boyce (sister), and three brothers, Tyrone Holland, Michael and Davon Boyce. He also was an uncle to Tytianna Holland. Growing up surrounded by lots of love, Tank, grew into an avid lover of sports. He played basketball and football and was very competitive, but was also known as a great team player. Along with his love for sports, he showed that same passion in the classroom, ending his life as a honor graduate of Laurens High School. Tank was a great athlete, a great student, and an even greater friend. He encouraged and supported anyone he befriended. He was humble, strong, and his demeanor had a radiating affect on those in his presence. Tank touched the lives of many in just 18 years, his two year battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma and Non Hodgkins Lymphoma cut his life short, but his legacy is one that will never fade. Tank never lost hope during his struggle with cancer, he didn't complain, he was a man of great faith, a faith that cancer could not take from him.

Graduation Day
